Ken Ritucci

Ken has dedicated his adult life to the square dance community. He began dancing at the age of 17 and took up calling in 1975. In the past 40 years, Ken has established himself as a professional caller both regionally and internationally. He has been the club caller for multiple clubs. He founded one of the most prestigious caller schools in the country, right here in New England. He has written countless articles for regional and national publications and has programmed numerous New England Square and Round Dance Conventions.

He is currently the Vice Chairman of the CALLERLAB Board of Governors, and is recognized by his colleagues and dancers as a formidable leader in the square dance community. Ken calls from the Mainstream program through C3B, and although he has traveled all over the United States, Canada, Russia, Australia and Europe calling for clubs, at festivals and running cruises, Ken continues to have a presence in New England. He always maintains his home clubs and values his time with the New England dancers and callers.

As an accredited caller coach, Ken mentors callers around the world. He spends countless hours answering emails, monitoring tests and providing guidance to new and established callers. He has assisted callers in obtaining scholarships, and has offered free tuition for young callers.

Ken has donated his time for numerous fun nights to engage the community in the square dance activity. He has donated his time at many New England Square and Round Dance Conventions, National Square Dance Conventions and CALLERLAB Conventions.
