Square Dance Leaders
Dennis and Stephanie Coruth have generously given their time and talents to the New England Square and Round Dance community for the past 22 years. They have served in a myriad of leadership roles since they began dancing in 1981 with the Litchfield Swingers Square Dance Club in Litchfield, NH. Denne and Steph have been club Treasurer (4 times), President (5 times), Program Chairman (3 times), Secretary (twice), Advisors/Past Presidents (4 times), and have served on the 25th Anniversary and By-Laws committees. In 1987 and 1988 they assisted with the Special Events Program for the NESRDC in Portland, ME. They were appointed General Chairman for the NESRDC in Manchester, NH in 1992, 1993, 2000, and 2001. In 2002 and 2003 they served as Registration Chairman for the Sturbridge, MA conventions.
In addition to their square dance leadership, Stephanie served as a Brownies leader in the Girl Scouts and Dennis was an assistant coach for a Little League team. Stephanie was an instructor for the Granite State Cloggers from 1985-1996 and was the Performing Team Manager from 1985-1995.
Denne and Steph are dancers who show their love of the activity by giving back unstintingly of their leadership skills on many levels. It is the Square Dance Foundation’s honor to induct Dennis and Stephanie Coruth into New England‘s Hall of Fame.
