Bud and Judy Clifford were graduates of the Hazen Squares square dance class in
They have continued advancing in square dance levels through C2 and have become accomplished round dancers as well.
They became charter members and the first treasurers of the Twirling Sams, the only square dancing Good Sam Charter in VT. They went on to become Vice President & held the office of President twice. As members of the Twirling Sams, they were VT Chapter delegates. They edited and printed four editions of a 16 page, Good Sam Newsletter from 1999 through 2000. 3000 copies were distributed. They are life members of Good Sam.
They have been President, Vice President, Secretary and Vermont Convention Chairmen for the Vermont Association of Western Style Square Dance Clubs and have received their 8th Good Neighbor pin, an award earned by traveling throughout the Vermont Association, while dancing with a many as 22 member clubs annually.
They belong to numerous square dance clubs including the Hazen Squares/Buffalo Mountain Dancers, Lyndonville Country Corner Squares, the Morrisville Lamoille River Swingers, The Advanced 60’s, ‘The Twirling Campers, The MontShire Campin’ Squares and the Littleton Square Dance Club.
